Plan to Spend a Day at One of Our Many Beautiful Beaches

There are many beaches in Northern Michigan and one is more beautiful than the next. Here are some of our favorites to make your Up North Vacation Pure Michigan and Pure Perfect:

Harbor Springs Zoll Street Beach - This small beach is nestled between Wequetonsing's summer mansions and Walstrom's marina. Swimmers and sail boarders love this beach. (This is a dog-friendly beach.)

Harbor Springs Zorn Street Beach - Commonly referred to as only "The Beach," this is where to hang out on the sand, swim out to the rafts and soak up some Vitamin D.Petoskey State Beach - Come for a full day and bring a cooler, blankets, kayaks or anything for fun in the Northern Michigan sun. Miles of sand, Petoskey stones, great dunes, picnicking, waves, and incredible sunsets await you here.

The Cross Village Beach, north of Harbor Springs, offers pristine sandy beaches and simply gorgeous sand dunes. (While you are there, be sure to visit Legs Inn for lunch or dinner.)

Young State Park - in Boyne City has a glorious beach. The shores of Lake Charlevoix are wonderful for swimming, sunning, and playing in the water.

Crooked Lake - Crooked Lake in Conway is a spot favored by wind surfers, small boaters, kayakers and tubers. These shallow waters and sandy shores are great for families.

Ferry Beach - The blue of Lake Charlevoix's inviting waters is amazingly alluring for swimmers. this Located in the city of Charlevoix, this is a great family spot with warm waters.

Fisherman's Island State Park - Located just south of Charlevoix, this state park has everything you want in a beach. And the views of the setting sun offer moments that you'll remember for a lifetime.

Middle Village Beach - Located down Lampkin Road from Good Hart, this beach has great sand, sun, waves, and peacefulness. 

Sturgeon Bay - Located along the shores of Lake Michigan between Cross Village and Mackinaw City, this beach has miles of sand and dunes and on windy days, excellent waves for playing.
